Mullein has a long traditional use in respiratory complaints.

A gentle expectorant and demulcent, mullein leaf has been used to aid the lungs in expelling drier mucus and phlegm by loosening it from the walls of the lungs and allowing it to be coughed up.*

Because of this, mullein may actually initiate more effective coughing, even though coughing is the symptom being treated. When the coughing resolves, it's because the need to cough has been resolved, not because mullein acts in any way to suppress coughing.*

It has a soothing, cooling, hydrating effect on tissues while also being astringent and mildly sedative.*

Mullein might be a good fit for coughs that are:

• Hard
• Dry 
• Unproductive
• Hollow or wheezing

Mullein is not for use in children.

Mullein is used in farming to remove heavy metals from soil, since it accumulates them so effectively. Because of this, we have our extract tested for pesticides and heavy metals by a third-party lab. 

Ingredients

RO water, Grain alcohol, Oregon-grown mullein leaf (Verbascum thapsus).

Instructions

Take 1-2 squeezes of the dropper bulb (30-60 drops) in a couple of ounces of water or your favorite drink 2-3 times per day.

One bottle contains about 30 dropperfulls.
